On a recent trip to Italy I was very inspired by the spectacular colors of the countryside as well as the buildings. When this quilt was finished it was an ‘aha’ moment as the colors of the quilt so reminded me of the places I had just seen. On the trip it was a frequent site to see windmills spinning in the distance as they do in this quilt, therefore the name "Tuscan Windmills" seems so appropriate. Using all of your favorite scraps, this graphic block will piece easily giving you ample positions to use your favorite colors.
