I chose this great basket quilt to represent Lucille Ball in this pattern. It is such a happy quilt, red (her favorite color) and simple to piece. Once you have made your basket blocks, you could decide to set them straight as in any of the other patterns or on point as we have done. This quilt represents a diagonal set with an alternate block. The quilting on this vintage quilt is spectacular, which you
could replicate by using the Lucille Ball stencil available from your local quilt shop.
